Legal Question in Military Law in California
military discharge
I have been a reservist for the past 3 years and just recently, 2 months ago, I signed a 4 year contract to active duty. A lot has been happening in my husband and I's life especially when is comes to military stuff. His family readiness officer has given out information to his ex-wife and his stalker and they have used the information against us. Now my command accused me of a fraudulent marriage and now the monitors will not station us together. We decided that I should probably just get out, he may try also. His will be easy because he has been treated unfairly for the past few years, we have the proof. I'm worried about mine. How can I get out and still have a good background check for when I am barred as a lawyer?

Re: military discharge
If and when you become a lawyer, and the "moral character determination" is rarely an obstacle, you will often encounter people who leave out key facts, especially facts that are unfavorable to them. You appear to have done this.
