Legal Question in Military Law in California
Panic attacks
I have been in the marine corps for over a year and in the past few months, i have been experiencing what i think are panic attacks, if i bring this up to my chain of command, and i get medically discharged, will this effect me becoming a police officer or firefighter once i get out?

Re: Panic attacks
You will find it a long and difficult task to get discharged from the USMC. They will want a lengthy proof and documentation of such panic attacks.
It's possible -- as a former police officer -- I think it's possible that you might not get considered for a police department. There are many situations you face on a daily basis that there would be concern.
