reasonable expectation of privacy

if i edit a video of a pornographic nature and distribute the video unknowing of the people in the video can i be legal charged? The video was obtained from someone that did computer repair work for the people in the video. This is one of the charges face at an army court martial.

The title of your question is, "Reasonable expectation of privacy." You are really arguing that people don't have an expectation of privacy in their data when they take their computer to Geek Squad?? The video you edited was copyrighted material and stolen property. And then you -distributed- these people's private video?? I bet you get sued after the court-martial is over.
