Legal Question in Military Law in California
will my njp for assault and hazing have a penal code? i am going threw the process to become a police officer and if it has a penal code i will be disqualified

All crimes are acts that are expressly forbidden by some statute. That is a key difference between our legal system and others. If you get the charge reduced down to a non-felony perhaps it will not disqualify you. If it still might, talk to the recruiting officer and see how it can be handled. They will do a background check on you so will find out; better that you bring it up then they find out about it.
