Am I able to, or is it wise to join other services with a prev OTH

I was discharged from the Marine Corps with an OTH in 2003. Now I want to join the Air Force or maybe the National Guard. I am not sure what the rules are; if I'm able to join another military or not. And if I am able to join another military, will it wipe out my prev Other than Honorable Disch? Will it even make a difference if I were to get an Honorable discharge the second time around?

Your chance of being able to join another military service with an OTH discharge will depend upon the needs of the service you are attempting to join. Unless you get your discharge upgraded, you will probably be unsuccessful. Check with your local recruiters.
