Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

about 8 months ago I put a engine in my car and was recently rear ended on the freeway. The insurance is offering me blue book to total it out. Do they have to reimburse for that if I have provided them the receipt for the engine? Do they have to replace my baby car seat that was in the car? Do they have to provide me with a rental car?

Present your receipt for the motor, and if they refuse to pay, take them to small claims court. Be sure you sue the party that hit you. With regards to the car seat and the rental, you should get reimbursed for those as well.
