Dear Madam:
You should not settle now at all. I have been doing personal injury litigation for 35 years and you will not know what if any damage was done to your baby until he/she is born. If you settled now, you would be waiving any damage for harm to your child. You can give me a call for a free consultation if you wish, with no obligation. Meanwhile, you should NOT be talking to the adverse driver's insurance adjuster. He is NOT your friend.

Whatever you do call me for a free consultation before you do anything else. My firm handles these types of cases all over California. In 99.99% of cases, we will get you substantially more money than you would get without an attorney. Hello.
There is no "typical" settlement amount. If you had a moderate to serious injury incident, it needs to be carefully evaluated in light of a number of factors that determine the settlement value of your claim. It's also possible that it's simply too early to settle or more treatment/evaluation is needed, especially if your symptoms are not resolved.
Thanks, and feel free to follow up.

I am sorry to hear about the accident. Hopefully you and the baby are doing well. You will receive a lot of offers for a free consultation here, but my advice would be to ask your friends, family and co-workers for a recommendation. In the meantime, there is no reason to continue to talk with the insurance company. They just don't have your best interest in mind. If you haven't already, please advise your OB of this accident. Also, if your are experiencing any whiplash or accident related symptoms keep in mind that as you go through the pregnancy it may continue to cause increased pain and discomfort. That is one reason why settling with the insurance company now may not be the best idea. If you are interested in more information, I have two free reports I would be happy to send you. The first tells you what you need to know about attorney advertising and the second gives you practical advice on what not to do when dealing with the insurance company. If you would like me to send you the pdf version just send me a quick email.
All the best,
Bryan
