Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

1st degree burns in tanning bed

What questions do I need to ask the insurance company when they call? The owner of the tanning salon does not want to go through her insurance comapny. I do not know what to do. What is fair compensation for me?

Re: 1st degree burns in tanning bed

Depends on the severity of the burns and whose at fault. How bad are the burns? Where are the burns? Any medical treatment? Did you stay too long in the tanning bed or was the owner completely at fault? These are critical questions to answer before you can estimate the value of your claim. You're right to ignore the owner's desire not to use her insurance.

First degree burns are very serious injuries, probably affecting more areas of you life than just your physical pain and medical bills. Your settlement should include claims for future treatment, and also take into account any impact on your working life.

A claim of this size needs professional attention. Please visit my website www.stone-molloy.com to contact me.

I strongly advise that you do not attempt deal with the insurance company yourself.

You may not know how to assess the full extent of your damages and may be persuaded to settle your claim for an insufficient amount of money.

You should contact an experienced attorney. Feel free to contact our office if you wish to discuss your matter more fully.
