However, I can't help you without more facts. You leave a number of questions unanswered.

Were you rear ended? Have you talked with the defendant (the one who hit you? Was there a police report? Were you covered by insurance? Was he/she insured? Have you talked to the insurance carrier for the driver who hit you (assuming there is insurance, and that the company attempted to contact you)?

Be careful, though, that anyone you are referred to for treatment treats only a very small percentage of patients who have personal injury cases, otherwise the treatment and reports will be suspect both for settlement and trial.
