Alienation of Affection

Can you sue for Alienation of affection in California ? If so, while the offending party lives in California and the offence was comitted in California can I still sue if I live in Florida? Is there a time limit on how long ago this took place?

This kind of lawsuit is not allowed in CA. I dont know about FL.
