Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

i was arrested by a security guard he grabed by left arm to hand cuff me i was in fear for my life and i have no criminal record at all he even lied to the police and the police was really mad a me for wanting to file a police report at first he didn't then he left then i called his boss then he came back and was yelling and shouting me he said you think your going to my sargeant and i'm not going to do a thing about it then the officer said that he was going to make a report and put me and the security guard as suspects and that we both would be arrest nothing happened to the security guard yet i wanted to no if can i file a lawsuit against security company and what kind of lawyer would i need . thank you

You may be able to bring a lawsuit against the security company, the company they work for, the company that owns the shopping mall and against the law enforcement agency. Although, I'm not exactly sure as to what happened since your description of the events is not very clear and concise. If you have a cause of action against a government agency you have a limited time in which to file the cause of action. Only 6 months. So I suggest you start contacting attorneys. The type of attorney you want is one that deals with civil rights violations or lawsuits against law enforcement agencies.
