Re: Auto accident

THE CAR THAT PUSHED THE CAR INTO YOU IS AT FAULT. THE SUIT IS AGAINST THE DRIVER AND OWNER OF THAT VEHICLE. THE INSURANCE COMPANY IS NOT DIRECTLY SUED, BUT HIRES THE LAWYER FOR THE PARTY AND PAYS THE CLAIM. IF THE CLAIM IS LESS THAN $5000.00, SUE IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT. NO LAWYERS ARE ALLOWED.

Re: Auto accident

The party that caused the first collision is liable to the ones in front generally. However if you have to file a complaint (within one year) you will want to name each person behind you becuase you never know what the intervening drivers may claim. The first driver may have hit the second driver after the 2nd hit a third, etc. You should get a copy of the police report and see what the different witnesses have to say. Be sure and notify your own insurance company. You may call me for a free consultation at 1 800-955-9504
