Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
Auto Accident...
In September of 2007 I was hit by a garbage collector truck on freeway. car was called a loss and paid off to finance company. I retained atty from popular tv commercial. Received physical therapy for back injury for 3-4 months. Concluded I suffered slight neck injury. Case is still pending. Last response from atty was in late November of 08 stating we should receive settlement figures around xmas time. For past 2 weeks been leaving messages to atty on progress of case. Atty has not returned calls. At this point should I look into retaining new atty as this one has hard time returning calls. Also, is it normal for case like this to go on for this long? Thanks in advance.
