Re: auto insurance claim
Report it to D.M.V.
See if there was a police report, and, if so, acquire a copy.
Notify your insurance company.
While you can handle it yourself, most personal injury lawyers were charge you a 33% contingency fee, but will be well worth it.
He has to carry liability insurance, plus property damage.

Re: auto insurance claim
Report the accident directly to the DMV and make sure you open up a claim with the at fault driver's insurance carrier. With these sort of severe injuries, it might be in your best interest, and that of your family's, to retain counsel. Feel free to contact my office for a free legal consultation.
Re: auto insurance claim
Report the incident to his carrier, and if the car you were in, or you have uninsured motorist coverage you can collect that and let your insurance company try and collect from this MBZ driver. It is too big a claim to handle yourself. Give one of us a call.
Re: auto insurance claim
We can order the police report if there is one and go after the
insurance carrier of the car that caused the accident. If you don't have the insurance information, most likely the police report would have that information. Then we can report the accident to the insurance company. The important thing is if all of you are hurt, you need to continue treatment until doctors release all of you. If the insurance coverage of the party is not enough then you can claim under uninsured motorist for underinsurance coverage and your insurace rates will not go up.Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
