Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Bait and Switch

I'm looking for the law that deals with the illegality of advertising one product while selling another. I've heard of it being refered to as Bait and Switch.

Specifically, I went into a restaurant and ordered Veal Scallopini and they substituted the veal with pork. I'm allergic to pork and had a very nasty reaction.

Re: Bait and Switch

That is not what Bait and Switch is. Bait and Switch is something different. What you have is a garden variety personal injury case.

Re: Bait and Switch

I agree with Ken Koury that this is not what people usually mean by "bait and switch."

You can hold the restaurant accountable for your allergic reaction but, unless it was very serious, this is probably a small claims matter.

Mr. Koury is right you do have a personal injury

more information about exactly what happened,

the extent of your injuries and so on it is hard

to give you additional information regarding possible
