Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
i blacked out one night while drinking n i guess my friend n i met this guy n he apparantly threw a glass in the bartenders face ... i kno i didnt drive home i was to drunk ... supposably 6 ppl say i drove him from the scene but actually i think the cop just said it was me but it could have been this guy or maybe my friend but i think the cop just wants me to say something thats not true ... i honestly dont kno the guy now can i remeber nething that happened that night can i get in trouble ? should i get legal representative b4 talking to the cop again

You cannot be compelled to be a witness against your self. I think you are in a heap of trouble, boy, and you better get an attorney.
Mr. Marman is absolutely right. If the think you drove the guy from the scene, that means they think your are an accessory. Do not speak to the cops again without a lawyer present.
More to the point, if you are drinking to the point where you are blacking out and not remembering stuff, aside from getting a lawyer this is a clear signal that You Have A Drinking Problem. Go to lots of AA meetings before your first court date and get signatures each time, this will help you immensely both legally and health-wise.
