Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
My boyfriend's ex girlfriend works in TV as an TV editor. She gets paid very well and uses all the latest editing softwares. She uses myspace.com to promote her career using plug-ins and a lot of technology not available to the regular user or artist. Her myspace music is hypnotic theta music with hidden binary beats, used to hypnotise people into self healing, overcoming allergic reactions, giving up smoking, overcoming trauma etc. I think the thing that hurts people is that she mixes that yipnotic theta music to the max and puts her own voice into the music suggesting malicious things and with that adding horror film sound effects! After I experienced her myspace music I could not forget the things in the music for a long time and I wondered why that was, and so I researched and found the music that she mixed belonged to meditation gurus and was designed to help people reach their maximum potential in life by enforcing them with support and feelings of well being. Because she mis-used this to create feelings of confusion, frustration and fear I think what she is doing is wrong because when people, especially the young or easily persuaded listen to her myspace music they are not aware that the music is hypnotic with hidden binary beats mixed with horror movie sounds and her malicious suggestions. I think she should explain to persons that this music is used for hypnotherapy so that the innocent listener can choose whether they want to experience it or not. She still has such a hold over my boyfriend and other persons within their group of friends that I am wondering if anything can be done to prevent her hypnotising more innocent people with her suggestions? Obviously when my boyfriend dated her before me he listened to her music all the time before he realized that her music was used for hypnotherapy. I just feel as if it has causes people consequential damages because they do not realize what is actually happening.
