Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
burned from waxing
Hi. I got my brows waxed on Friday and the technician burned me pretty bad. I'm still puffy and red on one side, the other isn't as bad. They comped the treatment and said they would reimburse any dr. copays/meds. Should they be offering more especially if I end up scarring in the area I was burned. Normally I wouldn't be too concerned and just stop going to that place of business but this is on my face. Thanks!

They are not required to offer more, in fact - that they offered anything is surprising; however, you would be well advised to memorialize any such offer formally, as these type of offers generally go away once a business actually has to pay. In addition to the cost of any Dr. visit, medication, etc - they would also be liable for the pain & suffering for the actual burn and any scar that may remain.
Feel free to contact me to discuss further, at minimum you should have any agreement to release the business reviewed by an attorney.

You should take pictures right away for any burns or scarring. You would be entitled to some money for pain and suffering in addition to your medical bills.
