Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

i got into a car accdent and one person died in the car i hit they ruled it 49 percent there fualt and 51 percent my fault why are the charging me with felony mansloter? i was not drunk thanks you

You need a criminal defense attorney. It does not matter what percentage of fault someone assigned to you [yuou do not tell us who decided the percentages and why]. You drove a car and negligently caused an accident that resulted in a person beilng killed. Felony manslaughter is the negligently taking of somone's life, which apparently is what you did.
