my sister borrowed my car and her friend drove and wrecked it. Is he financially responsible to pay for damages to my car?

Re: car accident
Maybe!
First, does he have assets, and/or his own insurance.
Certainly, unless there were discussions to the contrary, your sister is liable when she borrows it. However, your company will be obligated to cover damages, and then they'll go after your sister and the driver.
Incidentally, the "Financially responsible" part of your query can be taken several ways. First, does he he have the obligation? Secondly, does he have enough assets?
The rule of law is that you, and i.e. your carrier, are responsible for anybody who drives with your permission.
Good luck!

Yes, if he drove negligently.
