Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

car acident statue of limitations.

I was in a car acident where I was deemed to be at fault as I was the car in the rear. The lady in front of me slammed on her brakes as a car had pulled out in front of her. What is the statue of limitations on which an insurance company can sue.
