Case Management Conference, who attends-attorneys only or all parties involved.
Do the plantiffs and Defendents attend case management conferences in personal injury cases or just attorneys only.

"Case Mangagement Conferences" is not a term I am familiar with. There are Status Conferences which are attended by both counsel, and which require them to apprise the court of the status of the case, as you might imagine. These conferences could be accomplished telephonically, but courts do require counsel to attend. They are held in open court, so that parties can certainly attend such "hearings." The only conference to which clients are excluded are Settlement Conferences: the client stays in the court room, and available, but only the attorneys go into chambers with the court, and the insurance adjuster if the case involves insurance. Just last week I heard a judge in Orange County express his dissatisfaction with that process. He felt the most interested party was the client and the client should not be barred from the conference. I think, however, that the exclusion is written into the law or court rules and will be difficult to change, maybe not! I hope I answered your question.

Attorneys only attend but the clients are supposed to be available by phone
