Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Civil Lawsuit is pending. Defendant did not show up when subpoeanaed!

This case involves a Car that the defendant took from the plantiff. There is a battery report and injury report and the plantiff just paid 15,000.00 off in the defendants personal Debt. The Car in question is at another parties location. How do I go about getting the car out of this garage?

You might amend the complaint to include as a defendant the person who owns or controls the property where the car is stored, as well as add causes of action for replevin and conversion.
