Civil suit personal injury

In California how long is the statute of limitations to file a civil suit against the babysitter who severely abused and caused lifelong disabilities to a 6 month old baby?

The statute of limitations with respect to the child's lawsuit is tolled until the child reaches the age of majority. If the child is incompetent even as an adult, then the conservator of the child's estate can advance the case. That being said, if the babysitter has no assets to answer in damages, what is the point? If this is recent, report the matter to the police as the act is criminal.

Usually two years. but babysitters make minimum wage or less. Call a lawyer immediately to explore possible sources of recovery.
