Damage by minor pedestrian
A minor's skateboard goes into the street and under the wheel of my car while I am moving. Skateboard is propelled into radiator causing $350 damage (had to be replaced). Are minor's parents responsible?

Re: Damage by minor pedestrian
Probably not. Children are not held to the same standards as adults as far as negligence is concerned. (After all they are kids.) As a rule parents can not be held liable for the ordinary negligence of children.
