Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

defamation of character

took a differant dr.prescription to my normal healthcare pharmacy.by one of the pharmacist.i was accused of altering the priscipt.i am being investigated by my health care insurance and am being threatened they are going to drop my coverage.i have a declaration from the dr. who wrote the priscipt.stating it was not altered.this has caused me and my family alot of stress and i was embarassed in front of about 30 people while being accused of this .do i have a personal injury case.
