Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

My face was badly burned from a facial. The owner of the company said he would pay for my out of pocket expenses; however, now the company has closed it's doors. Do I have any recourse?

Check to see if it is connected to another company, whether the owner has real property, does the Better Business Bureau have any information on it.
