How do I file a lawsuit without a lawyer?
I have an issue I am reaching 1 year of my auto accident and I still have therapy left. The insurance company will not respond and no one is taking my case. I want to file a law suit to protect my interest, but I don't know were to begin. I need to file in the La court house what forms do I need to start. Any advise?

I would be happy to help you file a lawsuit to protect your rights to compensation for the accident. I handle many cases in Los Angeles and I know the rules of Court for filing a lawsuit in all four districts. You can contact my office for a free, no obligation consultation. My toll free number is 877-546-9918, or you can reach me by email at [email protected]. I handle these types of cases on a contingency basis. This means that I get paid when the case is settled or a judgment is entered by the Court. The only money you have to pay up front is the filing fee for the complaint, but if you are low income you can apply for a waiver of court costs so you don't have to pay the filing fee.
You could file a lawsuit yourself, but there are a couple of specific things that you have to do in order to file a complaint in Los Angeles County. This needs to be done right, from the beginning, or you may think you filed a complaint and everything is fine, when in fact it isn't. If you do decide to handle it yourself you can contact my office and I can tell you what forms need to be filled out and filed and how you need to serve the defendant. I look forward to speaking with you.
Sincerely,
John Hayes, Esq.

Any advice? Yes, consult with a law firm that specializes in Personal Injury matters. What is the value of your injury claim? You need to know this to know which court to file in. Of course the insurance company isn't talking to you. The closer you get to the one year statute the less incentive an insurance company has to speak to you. They want to give you the opportunity to miss the filing date. They know you are under pressure to settle the case before the year is up.
All the best personal injury law firms will give you a free consultation, advance costs (including filing fees) and not charge you any fee until your case is won and collected. Consult with a personal injury specialist as soon as possible. There are a few books in the book stores that will guide you through the complaint filing process if you decide to go about it yourself. However, there are untold number of "landmines" waiting for the inexperienced, who are representing themselves. If you get through the "landmines" the defense attorneys will attempt to grind you procedurally into the ground.
