Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

How do I find out about a Lawyer's trial Record/History?

I am looking for a successful attorney ro represent me on a personal injury matter. All the Attorneys I talk to say they have a winning trial record. Is there a source in California I can consult that tells me what an attorney has done at trial and how well his client made out?

Re: How do I find out about a Lawyer's trial Record/History?

I find the best way to reassure my clients that I am a good lawyer is to give them a list of clients who have agreed to act as references. I feel this is the best way for new clients to check me out. This is the way any new employer checks out their potential employee. When you are hiring an new attorney you are hiring an employee. To answer your question there is no way to check an attorney's record with the court because cases are filed by parties names not attorney names. Good luck on your case. If you need any further help please feel free to contact my office at 877-546-9918.

Sincerely,

John Hayes, Esq.

Ask him for copies of his verdicts for the last 5 years. Most trial lawyers keep a file of them.
