My daughter had a friend in her car and she broke the lock on her glovebox. Can i take her to court for the damages?

How old was the friend? How old is your daughter? How much damage was done? Was it an accident, or intentional? Are we talking about your car, or your daughter's car?

If its not your car why would you take anyone to court? Certainly your daughter's friend shold pay the cost of fixing the glovebox. If she refuses, the owner of the vehicle can have it fixed and sue in small claims court for reimbursement.
