How do I become a guardian ad litum for my infant in regards to an accident claim to collect medical costs? (does it involve going to court)

You should be able to find on line the court form for the petition to be appointed. You willl need a medical report, that the defendant will have to include in the settlement amount, stating that the child has made a complete recovery. If they have not , the judge will not approve a settlement as there may be a need for future treatment.
