Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
I need helpunderstanding the phrase "You agree in the last paragraph of the release to pay the Released Parties for any amounts thay have to pay to any insurance carrier governmtntal entity, hospital or other person or organization that provided you with care as a result of the Accident" I think it means that when i receive my settlement i will be responsible to pay the hospital/dr etc. the insurance co does not pay 3rd parties

It does mean that after the Release is signed any and all medical bills will have to be paid by you. Insurance company certainly pay medical providers, although not in most cases before settlement. The release does not state that it applies only to treatments or incident occurring after the settlement. A hospital may send out a bill afterward for treatment before the settlement date. You should not agree to pick up the costs of past or future medical treatment unless they have paid you for it. If yo have to deal with any medical provider, they will often reduce the charges by 1/3 to represent the attorney fees in the case.
