Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
I hired a slip and fall lawyer who quit the case after a year. My first court date is coming up and I can't find another lawyer to represent me. Can I show up at court without a lawyer? Are there legal things that need to be done before my first court date?

You can and should show up if you do not have a lawyer. Without more information it is impossible to tell you what, if anything, you need to do ahead of the court date.
