Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Hit and Run

The other night someone hit my daughters parked car her car to hit my husbands car causing that one to hit my sons car, the driver did not stop. But thanks to a couple of neighbors we found out who it was. His insurance has deemed 2 of the 3 vehicles obvious totals. Neither of them are new but are (were) in very good condition with low miles. If I do not agree with the value they put on these vehicles is there anything I can do to make things right?

Re: Hit and Run

You are not required to accept their settlement offer and can file suit instead. If you have collision insurance, a better option may be to make a claim on your own insurance and let the insurance companies work things out between themselves.
