Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Hit a shot on a golf course that ricocheted off a tree and broke a window of a house on the course. Am I at fault? Did the people take on the the risk when they moved to a golf course?

Thank you

You may have to look at your agreement with the golf course, otherwise, I like your analysis. May it be said that you were negligent in your swing? Contact me directly.

You are not negligent for hitting a bad golf shot. The people who live next to the course assume the risk that they will be hit by golf balls. However, your homeowner's insurance may pay for the broken window if you put in a claim. There are some circumstances that may make you liable if you sign or agree with the golf course you are liable for damages you cause while playing.

The golfer is always responsible for the damage caused by errant balls. Pay the bill and get some lessons....Good luck...Phil
