The law of warranty regarding defects in food products differs depending on whether the offending object (that broke your tooth) is naturally occurring, such as a bone or a seed, or is artificial, such as a piece of metal or glass. Unfortunately, some olives have seeds in them, and this will always be a hazard to salad eaters as long as people keep including olives in their salads. My estimation is you won't win a lawsuit for that reason. You might be able to find a lawyer who disagrees with me. Watch out for legal time limits.
I have to agree with Mr. Stone. The last case I read on this involved a chicken bone in a burrito. The plaintiff lost.
