Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I am an immigrant,I broke my arm while working. I pay taxes, but my boss told me not to tell the hospital that I broke it during work. He was not going to help pay for any of the bills for my broken arm. Now I have to get surgery on it so I told the hospital that I broke it at work. He says he is not going to pay, and he canceled my doctors appointment some how. I think he is going to fire me too. What do I do? Is he allowed cancel my appointments?

Contact a workers' compensation lawyer right away. If you were injured at work, you are eligible for workers' compensation benefits regardless of your immigration status or whether you were paid in cash. If he really canceled a doctor's appointment of yours, this was also illegal.
