Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I was injured by a city bus and the police department lacked in proper evidence; how would I go about getting further evidence than just my medical records and eyewitness...what else should I do. And can I go down to the office to ask important recorded questions as in my own investigation questions- to have as supporting evidence? I'd also like the address in writing the president about the extortion and mistreatment from the police department and the claims department whom did absolutely nothing in investigating my cases because they do service for the Metro Bus.

You could certainly write to the president about your experience with the claims department of Metro Bus, but you'd probably achieve better results by hiring a lawyer. I'm sure you will be able to find a lawyer to take your case without an upfront fee. Watch out for very short legal time limits. If your lawyer has not filed a formal and correctly written claim with the municipality within 6 months you could be out of luck.

Even if the 6 months have expired, an attorney could file a Motion for Leave to File a Late Claim. You must act quickly to ensure you meet the time restraints. Good Luck.
