Insurance adjusters are more or less "trained" to deny and dispute liability. Do not take this personal, as this is their "job", whether it is ethical or not per se. So, your best option under the circumstances, especially if there was less than $5000-$7500 in damages, would be to take the driver and/or insurance company to small claims court to have this matter adjudicated in your favor (hopefully) based on the facts. This would be a very cost effective and FAST way to resolve the dispute once and for all. If you would like further assistance in this matter, contact us directly for a free consultation.

You stated that you had just purchased the car. Was this car a replacement for car that was insured? If you had insurance and purchased a replacement car your insurance should cover you for 30 days. If you were insured on another car contact the carrier and request to add this car to your policy.

There are a lot of questions that I have for you. Give me a call. Insurance representatives are not always the easiest people to deal with, but liability is something that is usually disputed. You can reach me at 1-800-999-HURT.

When they dispute liability, the only way to resolve it is to file a lawsuit. You might have an issue of liability, especially if the other car had left bumper damage. If you didn't hit the other car, why was there left bumper damage? That's probably what the adjuster's disputing. Good luck to you.
