Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I was involved in a car accident May 2009, the lawyer I work with just got an offer on my case. However, he does not want to cover the portion of the hospital bill that my personal health insurance covered because he says they havent came after that money yet, adn they probably wont- but, if they do in the future that will be my responsibilty. I didnt sign the paperwork after he said this (although I had signed just the release about a week ago) because it doesnt seem fair or right in my eyes. What are my options? Please advise.

It is a little late but you could try to set aside the dismissal. I doubt that they would set it aside if you just had second thoughts.
