Legal Question in Personal Injury in California
This is a lemon law question. I bought a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica new in 2006. Chrysler recalled Pacificas built in the years 2004-2006 that had the same problem as my car. It suddenly dies completely, leaving you stranded with no means of even steering it to get off the road. This has happened to us 4 times and 2 were life threatening. I won't drive the car again-ever.
Chrysler said my car was not one of the models recalled but it's doing exactly what the other ones do. Do I have any leverage? If they agree to take it back as a lemon what compensation can I expect?
Thank you for your help

I have handled Lemon Law cases. Your car still has to be under some sort of manufacturer warranty to fit in the Lemon Law standards. If it is not still under warranty, you may be able to sue Chrysler for products liability, or breach of contract.
