Am I liable if I hit an errant golf shot
during a round of golf and the ball
accidentally broke a window of a house
located or bordering the golf course?

Re: Liability
Maybe!
You are dealing in an area of law called "assumption of the risk". When you buy a home by a golf course, you have assumed the risk of being victimized by an errant golf ball. (By the same theory, it is hard to collect for being hit with a foul ball at a baseball stadium, or a hockey puck at a hockey game).
There are exceptions. If the party claiming the broken window is able to show that you have done this many times before, and are frequently sued, you may find it hard to find a sympathetic jury.
