It would be best for you to retain an attorney in Arizona near where your accident happened. This attorney would know the Arizona laws that apply to your case.

Arizona law applies, therefore, you need an Arizona attorney. Good luck.

In southern California you may find there are some lawyers available who are licensed in CA and AZ. The bottom line is that where the office is doesn't matter, but they will have to be AZ licensed to work on an AZ case.

I agree with Mr. Kuhn and Mr. Lupoff. The case is almost certainly going to be decided by an Arizona court under Arizona law, so you need a lawyer licensed to practice in that state.

You might be able to find a lawyer near your home in California who is licensed to practice in Arizona, but she will expect you to pay for her travel time and expenses each time she has to go there for a hearing, deposition, etc. That will get very expensive, very quickly. You should get a lawyer close to where the accident happened if at all possible.

Good luck.
