Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

i had made a right turn on a yellow light. but the cop put "roll on red light" and the bail amount came up to 500! is that reasonable?

Does not matter whether it is reasonable or not. You already got the ticket and policeman can also make a mistake. Challenge it. They keep record. You can also go review the tap of traffic light at the police station as well. Go view the tape and decide whether you need to challenge it or not. If you think you are right, then do it. Go back and see if there are signs like "No turn on Red" etc.
