Is an oral agreement for settlement enforceable if it is made outside of the court under CCP 664.6?

It's been a long time but I think if it's outside of court, it has to be in writing.

I think you may have a very hard time in proving that the agreement to settle was made according to 664.6. Are there unbiased witnesses? And what exactly were the terms. I think it would be hard for the court to enforce it, and you may need to submit declarations from several unbiased witnesses.
