Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Personal Injury (Civil Rights Violation)

Where do I find a 'plaintiffs' attorney, willing to take on the Cal. Dept. of Corr.'s & Rehab. on a Contingency Fee Basis?

Because on Nov. 8, 2006 the court sentenced me to 5 yrs. & 4 mons., but the CDC&R took it upon themselves to change that to 6 yrs.

The court just granted my writ of habeas corpus, where the 8 months ''wrongly spent incarcerated'' will be deducted from my parole period.

According to the Atty. appointed by the court to help me with my writ, this mistake wasn't accidental or clerical, it was deliberate and malicious. He was astonished at the temerity of the CDC&R's Records Dept. where they took it upon themselves to change the courts order of my sentence.

I have all the documentation and it's part of the court record of my writ, the exhaustion of administrative remedies.

I brought this error to the staff's attention right away, and everybody, (Counselor, Records, Associate Warden) every written answer signed off by those responsible for my custody, stubbornly maintained that I had a 6 yr. prison sentence. Whereas, I repeatedly pointed to the courts Abstract of Judgment & Sentencing Transcripts, that state 5 yrs. 4 mons. I was released on Aug. 8, 2007 and suffered no violations of parole. How Do I Find a Atty
