My daughter is 21 and was involved in a not at fault automobile accident. She was the passenger in the vehicle and was taken to the hospital . The other party did not have a driver's license and was excluded from the policy. And now my daughter have a medical bills for $16,000. What should we do?

I am sorry this happened. Seek all appropriate medical attention. Do not give a statement or sign anything for any insurance company until you have consulted a lawyer. You are not capable of handling this yourself, you may have already waited far too long. Watch out for legal time limits that can be as short as six months after the accident.
