Re: Personal Injury - Defamation Per Se

Defamation per se means defamation with respect to one's business, occupation or profession. Damage is presumed. But, the amount of damage in economic terms still has to be assessed initially by the attorney before taking the case and ultimately by the trier of fact, typically a jury.

Yes, you can have the matter assessed by a personal injury lawyer and go from there.

There is little if any difference from State to State regarding the law of defamation.

I do not understand your question.

I never heard of a "Personal Jury Law attorney". Do you mean Personal Injury?

Defamation is a tort, and p.i. attorneys specialize in torts.
