Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

personal injury lawsuit

I was involved in an accident while I was a customer in a taxi cab. The lawyer that I hired has been taking his sweet time with the case and its really getting to me. How can I speed him up without sounding like Im desperate for the money? I feel like he thinks my case isnt important to him!

You can always hire and fire an attorney. If you don't like him, fire him!

If you think he takes too long, fire him!

If you can't tell him that you need the $, fire him.

I would make an appointment, tell him the truth about being too slow and that you need the money.

How long has it been? Court cases take quite a while to work through. If it is near the ten month mark after the accident and you do not know anything, you need to ask your lawyer what is going on. Good luck.
