Personal Injury Responsibility

In a past domestic violence event (seven years ago), where both parties battered each other, I possibly injured the other person--in recently dissolving our relationship the other person is angry and hostile and demanding that I pay up for the injury based on a possible Post Traumatic Stress Disorder diagnosis. What's the basis for a personal injury award? What are my legal responsibilities?

If you have homeowners insurance, refer this to them. However, it sounds like the statute of limitations has expired. Also, talk to your divorce attorney about it.
